Royal Caribbean Vision Of The Seas

As you know we are fresh from a 7 night Greek Island Cruise with the royal Caribbean, now I know cruises aren’t everyday occurrences so I decided to put together a post of what we did, where we stopped and what you can expect.

Kotor, Montenegro

BEA-U-TIFUL place!!!

Spectacular little town in the thriving country. We did a hop on hop off tour and it was well worth it. It was the easiest way to see the town with the amount of time we had to spend.

Corfu, Greece

Such a quaint little spanish style town with gorgeous old blue seas and a matching sky. They even have a little island called mouse island – not filled with mice its just shaped like a mouse.

Athens, Greece

In Athens, we saw the Acropolis and the Parthenon. As pictured below.

Mykonos, Greece

This is a must see island. With their pure white buildings and blue panelled framework on all the windows and doors.

A must stop in Mykonos is Little Venice, a collection of seaside restaurants and cafes with a gorgeous view of the famous 5 windmills of Mykonos… Check them out.

Argostoli, Greece

A little town in Kefalonia, with hundreds of giant sea turtles.

Day at Sea

The day at sea gave us a great opportunity to explore what the ship that had properly which had

  • 4 bars
  • 2 pools
  • A Ben & Jerrys Ice Cream Bar
  • A rock climbing Wall
  • A casino
  • a theatre
  • and a big screen at the outside pool which played movies at night.

Venice, Italy

We waited until 5 o clock until we left the hotel to go into Venice as it was so hot. But at 5 it was still very humid and sticky as we walked through the little streets and over the bridge. We didn’t go on a gondola ride as it was €80 until 7pm and €100 after 7pm so we decided against it.

We did however walk to Rialto Bridge and have dinner on the canal, which was gorgeous.

We flew home from Marco Polo airport, which is a bit of a disaster. You walk into the departures terminal, go downstairs to the check in desks, then go outside and upstairs – Yeah outside – into another building and then through security. To get to your gate you had to go through passport control. We were delayed by an hour and normally they announce it…. Not Marco Polo Airport they just kept changing the time on the board with no explanation… So that was a bummer but what can you do.

All in all, it was a great trip, as usual, if you have any questions regarding the cruise or Venice please do not hesitate to email me on or you can simply comment below
