Quinta Da Lago, Portugal

As you know we have recently just spent the week in The Algarve in Portugal with my dad and it was lovely and relaxing. We had nothing planned which was a big difference from our last holiday’s mostly we have everyday packed with new adventures & places to see. This time it was different.

We wanted somewhere we could relax and do nothing… We have a jam packed schedule and we knows when we will be able to put our feet up and doing abso-frecking nothing at all.

The one thing we did have planned was a Cave Cruise & Dolphin Watching in the Marina De Albufeira with Dream Wave

It was a 2 hour boat ride along the coast of portugal through all the caves & secret beaches the gorgeous coast has to offer.

Following that we went further out to sea to see if we could spot any bottle nosed dolphins.

Unfortunately, we couldn’t see any. Our tour guide said that the seas had shifted and we were getting currents from Spain. The change in seas can be attributed to the lack of dolphins… And of course dolphins are wild animals and it is difficult to predict where they will be at certain times.

But the boat ride was so enjoyable and I can’t recommend it more. It also gave us great idea’s if we come back to Portugal such as the:

Leazinho – Their Pirate Ship that takes you to a Private Beach that you can only access by boat. Here you spend the day on this island, where they cook a Barbecue and bring you back home in the evening.

I can’t recommend portugal enough, especially the resort we stayed in – Four Seasons Fairways

A Vintage Champagne Cocktail

A Frozen Yoghurt with Kiwi and Dark Chocolate Flakes from KoKo Lane

We didn’t go out for dinner much, as we had our own barbecue and plus Sean & Dad love to Barbeque so it was a win win for everybody.

We did however go to 2 Passos one night which was gorgeous but pricey and it was perfect if you are a big fish eater.

Happy Travels
