London, United Kingdom

Hello Lovelies,

I hope you are all well.

Sorry this is late getting to you, but it has been a mad house since we got back. In the middle of June we took a few days off to go on a little city break. This time we decided to head to LANDAN BABY , we didnt just go away to get away from work & all the stresses of day to day life, we went for:

They played for an unbelievable 3 hours in Queen Elizabeth Olympic Park & oh my god words cannot describe how good they are. So down to the basics:

  • We flew with Ryanair into Stansted
  • From Stansted we used Terravision – an incredible bus service (with wifi) to take us too London Victoria Station for a return trip it was a total of £35 for the two of us which was great.
  • When we arrived at London Victoria Station we bought two oyster cards – they were ideal – £30 each and that did us for the entire week we were there.
  • We stayed in the Premier Inn which was a bit of a let down but the location was great so we couldn’t really complain we were a 5 minute walk from Tower Bridge which was great.

We got there pretty late of the Friday so we just strolled down to tower bridge & had a drink at one of the cafes along the river side. Saturday was the concert so we got ready, had an incredible breakfast at The Breakfast Club on Spitfield Avenue – unreal – a definite must go to for food in London. Sunday was a day spent shopping which I was dying for, lets face it, thats the real reason I went to London. I didn’t go too mad, I picked up a foundation in Selfridges & Jeans in Topshop. Modest enough I say ;). After that we walked to Covent Garden we were shared and all right pizza but we went more for the fact to say we had gone. Following that we took the tube to Camden Market – a really – old timey market which was great. We ate in a gorgeous italian restaurant on St Katherines Dock called Strada, I cannot recommend this place enough, the food, the staff & the cocktails were all incredible. We also got a few little fireworks which was nice.!

Monday was another highlight of the trip – we went to the Warner Bros Harry Potter Studio Tour. We got the tickets through London Tickets they do great 2 for 1 on attractions and they provided us with a return bus tour to and from the studio and it was incredible, you can read all about it here.

On Tuesday we were heading home and we had a few hours to kill so we decided to do the Tower Bridge Exhibition you learn all about the construction and history of the tower and you can even walk across the top :O. It was great to do to kill a few hours, On the bus on the way home, we did cut it pretty fine, our flight was due to leave at 7 and we only got off the bus at 6 o clock having been on it since half 4. I can suggest getting the bus at least 4 hours before your flight just in case there is bad traffic – which in London’s case is everyday! But we made in eventually which is the main thing. One thing I will say is – if you are going in and out of stansted Airport and you only have hand luggage they only allow 1 bag of toiletries per person, thank god I had Sean with me or else I would of had to have left my entire liquid makeup collection behind :O

It was nice to get away for a few days and not have to check in with work or worry about the washing drying 🙂 🙂 🙂 LOL. So as always if you have any questions please let them in the comments below or email me at

Happy Travels
